The following are frequently asked questions we receive about our mini roll-off dumpsters. While we know that each project is unique, if you have additional questions that aren’t answered here, please contact us at (251) 533-7391 and we'll answer any questions that you may have.
General Questions
To save you MONEY. Our mini containers cost you less since you’re not paying for space in a big container you don’t need. Plus, contractors don’t have to put wear and tear on their trucks, pay disposal fees, and costly labor to employees going to and from the landfill and job site. We handle all of this for you for one flat fee. That leaves money in your pocket!
To save you TIME. Since we can easily place your dumpster in the driveway close to your project, you save time and labor. If you’re a contractor, you don’t have to suffer any down time while your employees are paid to take waste to landfill.
To save you SPACE. Big containers can take up your whole driveway. Ours are about the size of a minivan and can be placed in spaces where big containers won’t fit.
Plus, we respect your property. We place our mini dumpster in your driveway on boards, so it never touches your property. Big containers are delivered by big, heavy trucks that can damage your driveway. We use medium size trucks and can maneuver more easily to where you’d like the dumpster placed on your property

Dauphin Containers standard given period is 7 days, but if you need it longer than a week it’s $10.00 per day thereafter. Contractors, call for pricing to meet your construction schedule and time frame.
Our prices are affordable with no hidden fees. You pay a flat fee that includes:
- Delivery and drop-off
- Pick up
- Landfill disposal fees
- Sorting to trash for recycling (if possible)
- Up to 3.5 tons (7,000 lbs.) of debris

We offer three size mini roll-off dumpsters, 10 cubic yard, 15 cubic yard and 20 cubic yard containers. Our 10 cubic yard is approximately 8′ wide, 4′ tall, and 12′ long with an easy access gate that you can open and close. It'll hold about 4 pickup truck loads (most pickup trucks have a general loading capacity of 2.5 cubic yards). Our 15 cubic yard container is 8' wide, 5' tall, and 14' long with and easy access gate. It'll hold about 6 pickup truck loads. Our 20 cubic yard container is 8' wide, 6.5' tall and 14' long with easy access gate. It'll hold about 8 pickup truck loads. Maximum weight for all three size containers is 7,000 lbs. (3.5 tons). All three of these dumpsters are about the size of a SUV, so they won't take up your whole driveway.

We charge on a per dump basis with no fuel surcharges, disposal fees, per ton fees or any other hidden charges. Additional charges may apply for non-conforming waste, wasted trip fees, etc.
Usually we can deliver your dumpster the same day or by the next day. It’s best to call at least 24 hours before you will need it.
Dauphin Containers requires that payment be made on the day of delivery with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
No, we’re not allowed to transport a dumpster that is filled higher than the maximum load level due to the Department of Transportation regulations. The customer is responsible for unloading contents exceeding the maximum height.
We can set your dumpster in your driveway, in your yard, or by the curb (notice, some city restrictions and county ordinances apply if dumpster is placed on curb). Our driver will recommend to you if a particular placement could create a problem, like on soft or wet ground that has the potential to sink.
We recycle whenever possible because we’re concerned about protecting the environment. We only dump waste at licensed landfills designated for the type of waste being hauled. During transport, all loads are covered with a tarp.
Yes. We’re fully insured and can provide insurance certificates upon request. We’re also licensed in every city we serve.
